Does anyone know of any technology entrepreneurship bachelor's degrees available via distance learning?
Sounds like a great degree idea. You could use the COSC Individualized Studies Concentration to create such a degree. http://www.charteroak.edu/Prospective/Programs/Concentrations/IndividualizedStudies.cfm There appears to be such degrees at the post graduate level so these could be used as a guide in formulating a bachelor level degree.
Thanks for the suggestion. The only undergrad degree in technology entrepreneurship that I know of is Ohio State University www.osu.edu and it is not DL. I was aware of online master's programs in technology entrepreneurship/technology commercialization at Babson College www.babson.edu, the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign www.uillinois.edu, the University of Texas Austin www.utexas.edu, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute www.wpi.edu and the doctorate in technology entrepreneurship at Walden University www.waldenu.edu, but I was aware of no online undergrad technology entrepreneurship degrees.
Hi there, Cameron University had a Masters of Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Technology Entrepreneurship. This is where I obtained my masters in entrepreneurship from. But the dean of the school of business there, decided to give the program the ax, after determining that entrepreneurship was something that the school did not need to teach and wants to focus on MBA concentrations. You could try Western Carolina University, which has a full online Masters of Entrepreneurship, to see if they will let you have a concentration in Technology Entrepreneurship. WCU is dirt cheap if you live in NC and probably not too bad for out of state students either. www.wcu.edu
