Does anyone know of any 100% online graduate marketing certificates that are under $300 per credit?

The two that readily came to mind were City University of Seattle www.cityu.edu and Southern New Hampshire University www.snhu.edu but, alas, they were $586/hr. and $532/hr., respectively. Anyone else have any ideas?

What's the tuition cost for the UC Berkeley programs? I couldn't find it on their site ...

You have to click in the individual classes to see the price.
Normally they are $675 for on-campus and $715 for online.

That's the price for a 2 credits class, so we are talking U$337.5 and U$357.5 per credit.

$300/hr. might be a bit difficult to find for an RA school's tuition rates. Most DETC schools charge $250/hr.

Can you confirm these 400 series courses are graduate level? I sent 3 emails to UC Berkeley to clear this up and they never bothered to answer.

I found this statement on the website:

    Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for the Certificate Program in Marketing, but a bachelor’s degree is recommended.

Since it does state that there are no prerequisites for the program, and the Bachelor's is only recommended, I don't see how it can be a graduate certificate. I would hope that I am wrong, but I doubt it.

That would be a great deal if it really were a graduate certificate with UC Berkeley's name recognition attached to it.

    $$$

Now, I'm not being critical, (as I have the same "disease") but sheesh, Randell you're going to need a loan to pay the transcript fees at all these places every time you apply to teach! That's why I have done all my post-MBA work at one school (so far).

The grading policy for the certificate from UC-Berkley gives another indication that this wouldn't be considered a graduate level certificate. I say this because the certificate only requires a 2.5 GPA for completion. I have never seen any program at the graduate level that would award a diploma/degree without a minimum gpa of 3.0.

That is why I am looking at an MBA from TUI (same as my MS-ITM). How is that for good thinking?? ;)

That, my friend, is good thinking!

I called the school and they said they are not undergrad or grad level - they are in the middle! This is a "professional certificate" and it would be up to the receiving institution to accept them. I was told they "may" be accepted as undergrad but very doubtful that it would be accepted as graduate level work (because it is not).

The printed catalog says that all X400-499 courses (the ones in the Marketing certificate are included on those) are "Professional, postgraduate courses".

In Europe, Latin America and most countries "postgraduate" is what people here in the US call "graduate".

So I assumed that they were graduate courses.

If they are not, I think UC Berkeley is misleading their students.
