Hello, I am new to this forum, does anybody know a 1 year MA program in Europe, through distance learning? I am interested in Art History, Anthropology, Sosiology, Social anthropology, theatre, museology and whatever else there is. thank you
University of Wales Lampeter (which is due to become University of Wales Trinity Saint David sometime in 2010 after its merger with another university) offers a bunch of taught MAs via distance ... you'll have to investigate each of their programs to see how each one is offered (some are part-time only, others are both full & part time, others are not offered via distance ...) http://www.lamp.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate.html
The University of Leicester has a DL Museum Studies masters degree http://www.le.ac.uk/museumstudies/study/study.html And there is this masters program in Heritage Management http://www.ironbridge.bham.ac.uk/programmes/fees.shtml (I visit Ironbridge on a regular basis and is a very interesting area for studying engineering history).

Dalarna (Sweden) Dalarna University used to offer a 1-year MA in Cultural ANthropology. I appled, but the program appears to have been cancelled. I would think it would have been assumed by another Swedish University, but i havent had success in finding it. I would assume that the Anthropology adbisor at Dalarna would know what has become of that program. Mike
