I would greatly appreciate your feedback on this school. I guess I'm going through a mid-life crisis and mind is going all over the place. After looking at schools like NCU, APU, Bellevue, and Liberty, I recently made the decision to just study for the GMAT and see what additional options I would have, but I keep going back to Chancellor because of the list of courses they have selected and has a good blend of courses with forecasting, six sigma and finance. I have read about Jack Welch and agree with some of the previous postings about the amount of job cuts and other negative sides of his decisions, but from reading The Wall Street Journal, he seems very involved in wanting to see this program succeed. I read the article about some of the people he is getting hired to help run the program and looks pretty good. What I like about the program as mentioned previously is the list of courses, and being a veteran the entire program is under 10,000, plus I get a book voucher that would cover almost half of my books. I'm hoping if he (Jack Welch) truly wants this to succeed if he will also work on adding more companies to hire graduates from his program.
Chancellor is regionally accredited so if you like the program go for it. I have Jack Welsh's book "Jack - Straight fron the Gut" (which I bought at a libary sale for a few cents) sitting in my bookshelf but have not read it yet.
Thanks, I completed the enrollment paperwork and hoping to get started in Jan 4th. It's going to be crazy trying to get this done and CPCU and possibly ARM designations same time.
I'm sure it's the norm with all schools, but I have to submit all transcripts to include 1 course from two different schools from 25 years ago. Man, it's been that long?
