Hi folks. I've decided that public accounting is not my "thing"; moreover, I am considering a switch into health care administration or business related fields within the healthcare industry (preferably non-patient side).

How valuable is the MHA within health care considering that I'll have my undergrad in Accounting?. Should I just get the MBA w concentration in "health administration", or get a more specialized degree? My future objective is to become a health care executive.

Seeking some opinions on the matter.
    Thnx.

Betwixt and between the MHA and the MBA in Health Care Administration, I say go for the MBA-HCA. That'll give you some concentration courses in health care administration while leaving you with a broadly enough based business education that you can still do other things in addition to hospital administration. And don't discount the idea of applying your accounting in a hospital environment.

I'd do the MBA (general) in case you want to change.....
