    Hello Everyone!

I have searched for people who have been able to transfer NA credits to Excelsior and have not been able to find any.

The question: Has anyone done this?.....if so, how many did you transfer?.....What degree did you continue with?

    Thank you, Jim

There was some big NA advocate who managed to get NA credits transferred to Excelsior. I think he was the cop with the DETC-accredited Columbia Southern University BSBA and MBA ... Jamie Gautier, I think. Maybe someone else has further details.

I read that the restriction is more on ABET or Nursing degrees i.e degrees that require specialized, professional accreditation.

If you are trying to transfer in to business degree then you may have better chance as long as your classes mach the classes required for the degree you applying to. Also check the option of testing out.

I transferred in five Aspen (DETC Accreditation) courses, 15 undergraduate credit hours in March of this year to Excelsior. Having completed my doctorate, I was fishing for something to do next. I have started and stopped a whole bunch of programs over the years, so I have unused credits all over the place. The process was very simple; you register with them, get a login to their learning/admin site, and submit your transcripts. I think I was assigned a person to work with me but do not remember. For the Aspen courses, I had to request a waiver (or something like a waiver) and send the course descriptions over to them. I had also saved the syllabi for the courses and sent those over. About a week later, they were accepted. I just logged back in to their site and re-checked my transfer assessment to make sure I remembered this correctly, and there they were. I never did anything else with them, and of course 90 days later ended up working for Aspen.
