Well according to xe.com 5,000 Euros = $7,480.29 US ... here's GetEducated.com's MBA list (sorted by price) however their list is a bit out of date:

    http://www.geteducated.com/online-college-ratings-and-rankings/best-buy-lists/best-buy-mba-regional

Some inexpensive regionally accredited schools (updated with accurate current prices, for tuition ONLY, may also require books, other fees, etc)

    Chadron State College
    http://www.csc.edu/graduate/degree/business.csc
$8,100 US (slightly over the proposed 5000 euros limit)

    Amberton University
    http://www.amberton.edu/Degrees/Graduate/Default.aspx
$8,100 US (slightly over the proposed 5000 euros limit)

    ---

If a nationally accredited (DETC) degree will fit your purposes (and you're sure that you understand the limitations of such a degree) then there are many more options available, such as:

    Aspen University
    http://www.aspen.edu/programs/mba.htm
If I understand their "prepayment plan" correctly, then if you pre-pay for 4 courses in advance, your total for the 36-credit program comes out to $5,900 US

    Andrew Jackson University
    http://aju.edu/btc/btc_grad.asp
Their "sponsored tuition" plan is supposed to be quite cheap but I couldn't find exact numbers on their site, so you'd have to contact them.

    Other potential DETC options: http://www.detc.org/search_schools.php?searchSet=true&category=D&subject=65

    ---

Again, if you don't know what the difference between a regionally accredited and a nationally accredited degree is, find out first.

Recommendations based upon cost are very dicey. Costs change without notice. Virtually every university says this in their literature. You can ask about "which is the least expensive" and it's reasonable to expect that if a program is cheap it will probably stay cheap during your enrollment, but to ask for a specific dollar benchmark may be unreasonable because that school may change it's costs to you at any moment (and they probably will).

If you are living in Europe check with your local authorities / education related government institutions how they deal with NA (DETC) institutions.
I contacted mine just a few weeks ago and got again the "the minimal standard for degrees from the U.S. is the accreditation by one of the 6 regional accreditation agencies".

Hi Woho have to agree with you on US degrees!
Kizmet you right saying: "Recommendations based upon cost are very dicey" but in the day of the econimic crisis I think everyone is looking for a convenient and reasonable solution, also I could argue that usually "you get what you pay" but it would be nice to see if we can Hub some resources helpful to people and all of us ;)
Thank you emmzee for the links!!!
Here I will add (mainly UK Unis) my knowledge on the subject:
    1) University of Wales offers the most reasonable cost from 5300 euros upwards depending on the Institution deal
    2) University of Bradford and Open University with 11.000 euros (I am trying to avoid the stereotype)
    3) Warwick Business School something around 17000 euros

well I would like to see more of you adding to the list and hopefully some more reasonable approaches!!!
    Looking forward!!!
