At age 47, I finally received my first degree, an AA in Liberal Arts from St. Petersburg College. It only took me (ahem) 30 years to complete, but hey, what's an extra 28 years, huh?

    I'm so happy!

Very cool. As you have proven, age is not a factor in achieving your goals. Congratulations on your degree!!

    Congratulations! :)

And as for the 30 years, didn't someone say it's not so much about getting to one's destination, but rather the journey itself? :)

Do they let you do that $100.00 a month payment plan interest free? I think that is wonderful.

This is fantastic news -- congratulations!

I've always said age is just a number -- as others have said, the journey is just as important, if not more so!

Best of luck with your Bachelor's progress!

    Cheers,

Great job! I graduated with several people around your age or older in 04(AAS Electrical Tec). I think its great that you got back in there and got the job done. Good luck with your bachelors degree.

It took me 14 years to complete my associates while traveling around the world with the army. Good job sticking to your goals.
