I am an electrical engineer with about 20 years of professional experience. The usual for my age: patents, articles, etc. I would like to earn an RA DL masters degree, but would like to get some credit for some of what I have accomplished professionally, and perhaps some flexibility on 10 year old transfer credits.
Anyone know of schools fitting this bill? No RA schools I have found so far will give non-coursework creditin graduate engineering.

If you look at some of the older threads you can get some guidance in this area. In general to do what you want you will probably need to schools in the UK, Australia, or South Africa. In particular their research degrees (MPhil or DPhil). There are a couple of schools, particularly in the UK, that will grant degrees based on porfolio (actually prior publication).

A good place to start is Bears' Guide to Earning Degrees by Distance Learning - 14th edition, and also look at http://www.degree.net/schools/100schools.html
