Here is a draft outline - you can modify to suit your course requirements. Submit an outline to your course instructor then build on his/her comments. Perhaps add a section for each objective. I – Introduction Why you are studying for your BS-IT What are your career goals A brief bio (include how you funded your degree) II – Resume or CV Usual format III – Education Start with table listing all IT courses taken for this degree with grades and your glowing opinion of them. IV – Work experience Expand on resume – be more detailed – what you have learned working V – Other applicable information Hobbies, Computers and software you own, volunteer activities, General Enclose copies of certificates, samples of your work, letters from supervisors, photograph of you at your computer set up and work place, copy of your employee badge or identification, references that the college could call, etc, If a document exceeds more than a couple of pages then put it in an appendix.
