    Hi everyone

I'm interested in enrolling in the Electromechanical Technician Program (Distance Education) at George Brown College. So I'm wondering if any one here has taken it or knows anything about it. Is it worth it or would I just be wasting my time?

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have thought about their electronics tech program (purely out of personal interest in electronics) - they are in .ca and certainly appear to be a legitimate institution who have been around for a while.

GBC is a public community college ("Ontario College of Technology" or some such) in downtown Toronto. Rather large and undoubtedly legitimate. Their ads on a subway boast high employment rate for graduates. Beyond that, I know nothing. The program looks cool.
