Hi, I am looking at the Online MS Program at Nicholls State University (Thibodaux, Louisiana). The program is titled Master of Science in Community/Technical College Mathematics. http://math.nicholls.edu/math/masters.asp How good is the program? Thanks.
I don't know anything specific about that program but perhaps one of our members does. There are a few other Masters programs for Math teachers do you already know about them?
Thanks for the reply. I was interested for this program because of my UG GPA of 2.59 Nicholls only requires 2.50. Most masteral program requires 2.8 or 3.0. Thanks.
Pretty awesome that they offer six rather generous assistantships. That's quite rare for online programs!
Nicholls has some of the best English and Math programs in Louisiana. I'm not sure how it compares outside of the state though. I cannot comment on that specific program but I know the schools reputation and I don't think you would go wrong by considering it.
