Hello Everyone. I just found this discussion board and so far I like what I see. I need help regarding choosing a PhD program in Educational Technology. I found out a few days ago that Northcentral now accepts financial aid from FAFSA. I am currently seeking to obtain the necessary information from Northcentral University, in order to pursue a PhD in Educational Technology/E-learning. I do not really know anyone who attended the university and completed their program, to inform me with the necessary and practical feedback about the school. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I graduated from their doctoral program and found the dissertation process to be extremely difficult. Have you had any prior training in research? The coursework that leads up to the dissertation is standard fare. The coursework is a marathon that leads up to -- another marathon (the dissertation)! When I attended NCU, it was extremely inexpensive, but it's now become somewhat expensive, albeit it still seems to be less expensive than the other regionally accredited online doctoral programs. Does this help at all?
