Dublin Metropolitan University in Malaysia ! Is it recognized? Please advise.

MBA and DBA course by Dublin Metropolitan University are being offered in Malaysia by one Sdn.Bhd company in Subang Jaya.

Is this course recognized by the Malaysian Government? It is run by not an institute of education by a Sdn Bhd (Private Ltd!)!!!

Please reply if anyone knows of its recognition?

Here's an official listing of all the recognized universities and colleges in Ireland, from that country's Higher Education Authority:

You will notice that Ireland does have a completely legitimate "new university" named 'Dublin City University'. This spurious 'Dublin Metropolitan University' looks to me like a deliberate attempt to confuse prospective students.

 

Mmm, I note that the following Irish 'higher education instituions' are not on this list either:

* Irish International University
* Irish Business School
* Warnborough University
* Earlscroft University

Now, I wonder why?

The name of the university is new to me, and it certanly does not sounds Malaysian at all. Probably a DL university from some other countries (Ireland, possibly).
Suggest you check with Association of Commomwealth Universities website.
