I have my associates degree, from a nationally accredited school :(, I am trying to figure out the best online (regionally accredited) college to get my BA/BS. I am interested in Psychology or Social Work, maybe even Journalism. I have been looking all over and they are so expensive. Does anyone know of any universities that aren't so expensive that have degree programs online only?
    Thank you so much!

It would be helpful to know where you earned your associate degree. There is a difference between having a nationally accredited degree from ITT technical institute and one from a DETC accredited school. Not that ITT is bad, it's just that most of their courses are vocational/technical in nature and tend not to transfer to RA schools at all.

Peru State (www.peru.edu) has an inexpensive ($180 per credit) B.S. psychology, but I don't know whether they accepts NA transfer credits. Park University has a BA Sociology, BA Psychology, and a BS Social Psychology. I thought that Northcentral had a BS Psychology and would take NA transfer credits. You might also check out the BS Psychology at Liberty University at $275 per credit.

I would think American Public University http://www.apu.apus.edu/index.htm would be a place to look. They used to be NA, so they might be more willing to accept an NA AA towards a bachelors. They seem pretty reasonable tuition wise also.

This may sound silly but are they a respected University? How are opinions?
    Thanks again.
