Dan, I noticed you obtained 55 credits through special assesment. I am currently employed as a law enforcement officer in Florida. Would my certification be worth any credits with COSC.
Depending on where you are in the state of Florida, your best bet may be to see if a local community college will give you credit for being certified in the FDLE certified. It took a bit of 'footwork', but I was awarded 15 hours of credit by the Director of the Criminal Justice Dept. at the CC near me (Central FL). This was at no cost, and the credits were transferable to Excelsior College for my degree.
the best thing would be to call the school and discuss it. My Certification is national and recognized by CAHEAP. Newington Hospital In Conn. teaches a program that leads to the certification, and there are three schools with Bachelor's Degrees in these subjects. University of Washington, University of Texas, health Science Center, Dallas and California State University, Dominguez Hills. Dan
