since DETC got approval to accredit first professional doctorates, what's the future of DL law schools?

A good question, but the point is mute since DETC, or even RA accreditation is worthless unless the school is ABA accredited. Or, at least that is the only way reciprocity is guaranteed.

So far I only know Concord and Taft go through this DETC route. I wonder whether others will follow.

Very likely since DETC accreditation will permit participation in the federal student loan program.

It is also the only way to qualify for the bar in many states.

Wonder how Alabama will receive such an accreditation re taking the bar exam? Would it possible (in a rare forward thinking moment) allow those who studied at an accredited DL law school take the bar exam?
