As the thread title suggests I am looking for factual comparisons between these two types of degrees. My online searching has only given me one thread dating back to 2001 and it wasn't really a step by step comparison. As I stated in another thread I was considering the MSc in Forensic Computing and Cybercime Investigation (http://cci.ucd.ie/fcci) from UCD (University College Dublin). I know now that asking about the utility of a European master's within the U.S. is a difficult question to answer so I figured I would attack it a different way. What exactly are the differences between the two types of degrees? If you were to do a side by side comparison of the two how would they match up? I'm wanting to make an informed decision and I haven't really found too many negatives in reference to this particular degree I'm interested in. What are your thoughts?

These links are just for quick reading about Interpol and Microsoft's endorsement of this program.
