I can't stop thinking about the post Ted Heiks made under "The best MBA degree" about Wayne State College and curious why nobody is talking about that school. When I first read the "$210.75/hr., this 30-hr. program costs $6,322" I thought it was a typo. I spend several hours last night reading the catalog and noticed you need a min of only 450 GMAT score and it's only 30 units. Just curious if anybody has any feedback on this program.

According to their web site, that is the resident tuition, otherwise it's about $330 per credit hour, including fees.

It looks like there are additional fees per credit hour (around $40 or so).
    Still a reasonable cost.

Nebraska does seem to have its fair share of reasonably priced and/or flexible distance learning offerings, including:

    Bellevue University
    Chadron State University
    Peru State University
    Wayne State University

  8. Lets not get Wayne State University (Detroit, Michigan) confused with Wayne State College (Wayne, Nebraska)

Wayne State College's sister school Peru State College www.peru.edu does get a lot of bandwidth here on account of their low prices.

I took courses both at Chadron and Wayne state last semester. I found the customized online learning environment at Chadron wayyyyy better than Wayne state. Wayne state basically uses a lame discussion board and the teacher did not make any use of that either. Chadron had a course progress tracking page, and I was always updated with the progress throughout the course. On the other hand, the wayne state college teacher chose to print the homeworks, took weeks to grade them, and sent the graded papers by mail. Also, Chadron's online program seems to have been there for a while, and Wayne just started offering online MBA in Fall 2008.

It worked for me. I just graduated last month from Peru with a BS in accounting.

Peru is not Wayne. I had very poor experience with Wayne State, though the Dean of business school was very helpful and responsive, I found the marketing course instructor to be extremely ineffective, and even lazier than me!
