I'm planning on graduating from TESC later this year (if all goes well) with a bachelor of arts in liberal studies. Here's my roadmap so far: English Comp ENG 101-2 (Community College) Humanities PHI 101 (Community College) PHI 110 (Community College) LIT 111-2 (CLEP) Social Sci HIS 101 (Community College) HIS 102 (CLEP) ECO 111 (CLEP) ECO 112 (CLEP) Sci/Math MAT 110 (Community College) COS 101 (CLEP) (6 Units Science left) General Ed MUS 105 (Community College) GRM 101-2 (CLEP) SOC 101 (CLEP) PSC 201 (Community College) (3 Units left) Core Lib Studies LIT 208-9 (CLEP) LIT 291-2 (CLEP) PSY 211 (CLEP) PSY 230 (CLEP) PSC 215 (Community College) SPC 205 (Community College) (9 units left) Free Electives ACC 101 (Community College) LAW 201 (CLEP) IS 7 (FEMA) IS 271 (FEMA) IS 288 (FEMA) IS 292 (FEMA) IS 324 (FEMA) IS 340 (FEMA) IS 362 (FEMA) (14 Units left) Courses I have taken but haven't included IDS 210 (Community College) (Interdisciplinary Studies Course- don't know where to put it.) My thoughts: How do you evaluate my roadmap so far? Should I put the unclassified courses anywhere? Can you give me advice on the potential duplication of credit?

I don't know if you'll find this helpful, but I posted a thread on another board with the basics of credit evaluation- you clearly have a strong grasp of the subject based on your own evaluation, but here is the link anyway. Nice Job by the way! Credit that isn't immediately obvious will need to be evaluated, otherwise we are all just guessing. Does it look to you that I'm almost done or all done?
It is hard to tell how far along you are without comparing your courses/credits against TESC degree requirements. What I did to track my progress for my EC BS was to organize my credits in a chart so I could see where I stood. Excelsior did this for me once I enrolled. If you think you are close to finishing why not enroll now with TESC? They should let you know if you are short of courses. Hope you graduate soon.
FEMA credits two of my local colleges informed me that after August no college will be giving credit for FEMA credits. Anyone heard this about TESC?
Here's the basic TESC Requirements for a Liberal Studies degree: English Composition: 6 Semester Hours Humanities: 12 Semester Hours Social Sciences: 12 Semester Hours Science/Math: 3 Semester Hours Computer*, 6 Semester Hours Science, 3 Semester Hours Math General Education: 18 Semester Hours Core: Liberal Studies: 33 Semester Hours in Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics or similar courses. 27 Semester Hours must be 200-level or higher. Free Electives: 21 Semester Hours All the courses I've taken and listed are worth 3 Semester Hours, except the FEMA ones (1 each) and the USDA one (2 for this). Courses that have a dash in their numbers imply that I've taken two courses that come in sequence, and give 6 Semester Hours of credit together. I'm waiting for my FAFSA to get processed before applying. I do know that I want to get more Library courses from USDA on the transcript, to get them counted for a future library technician certification. I also plan to take Children's Literature from TESC as well. Hope this clears things up...
