Hello, I am scheduled to start at my Ph. D in General Psychology at Capella on July 13. My question is has anyone ever attended Capella with this Ph. D program or any other program at Capella? I would like to know what the workload is like. Is it a 3-5 page paper & discussions every week and a large paper at the end of the quarter, or is it discussion questions weekly, a few small papers, and a large application paper at the end of the quarter? Just wondering because I thought it was a lot to have to do a paper EVERY week in addition to discussion questions and a large app. paper, even for a Ph.D program. Walden's Ph.d in General Psychology workload seemed a bit less rigorous, but still rigorous enough to learn and be able to master the content. Anyone have any advise/ideas?
A frequent poster here - BlackBird - got his PhD in Family Psychology from Capella a few years back. He should be able to answer some of your questions. Send him a PM. Shawn A is also a doctoral student there but not in Pysch.
