Has anyone ever heard of making changes to a transcript after a degree is granted?? I found this highly unlikely, and I know for sure the college I work for as well as every college I have attended does not allow post-graduation changes, I even spoke to a TESC advisor....however.....chatter on another forum suggests that EC will allow you to modify your transcript after you earn your degree (for a fee) and add courses/CLEPs. Thoughts?
That would be very interesting! I have heard of people doing basically a DIY post-bacc program, where they knock some classes off their transcript (post-graduation) and are able to update it officially. I don't have any names though, I had heard about OkState allowing that, but I can't confirm that.
I have never heard of legitimate schools "modifying" transcripts after graduation. "Adding courses" is another matter. I took some upper level undergraduate courses at my alma mater in the first few years after I graduated. Those courses and grades appear on my official transcript but the grades were not computed into my GPA. The GPA is the same as it was as of graduation.
In the wacky world of academia, anything is possible, but changing or removing a grade after graduation is usually next to impossible.

I had an instructor die after a course (which I made an A in) before he submitted the grade. At UF, a non-grade is computed as an F in GPA calculation. I didn't catch it until after graduation. I tried and tried to no avail to get the grade changed, or at least converted to a "pass/fail" so it would not be computed in my GPA. I was basically told, "tough luck."
