Given the cost of Lawschool in Canada, I'd be curious if anyone would try to take it online from north of the 49th and follow it up with this course.

Amicus Curiae Professional Law School is not a degree granting institution and definitely not a law school in the traditional sense as required by the Canadian Bar Association. Note, this institution only provides tuition in the subjects corresponding to the NCA examinations which foreign-trained or foreign-educated holders of the LLB or JD must pass to receive a Certificate of Qualification that is needed before applying for an articling position in Canada. The exact number of NCA examinations an applicant is required to pass and the subject areas of those examinations varies and is determined solely by the NCA on a case-by-case basis. One category of student does not require a law degree but those persons will not be eligible to write the NCA examinations. Their web site clearly states they are not affiliated with the NCA in any way. From the conversations I have had with foreign-educated law degree holders studying and passing the NCA examinations does not require any special tutelage though some students might benefit from a structured presentation and review of the material.

Oh, the courses are NOT offered online at this time; only face-to-face classroom instruction is available.
