I have finally finished all of the required assignments for the three courses I am taking in my first semester at Andrew Jackson University. I will be taking the final online, proctored exams this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

It's been a long, hard road to get to this point. I had to get an extension for this semester and it is finally nearly over. I can tell you that the coursework has been rigorous, and I have learned a lot.

Although the 16-week semesters don't work for me, and taking three courses at the same time was crazy, I highly recommend AJU.

Congratulations on surviving the semester and best of luck with the final examinations for those three courses. The rigorousness of the coursework sounds like AJU is a good option for those wanting to earn a degree and the tuition cost is particularly attractive to those who could not otherwise afford college or university without incurring student loans. Let us know how your examinations go this week.

I finished my final exams, and received final grades of 4.0 in English Comp II and Survey of Communication, and a 3.5 in Ethical Decision Making. It has been a lot of work, a lot of stress, and I'm glad it is behind me.

The final exams were tough. Both the Communication and Ethics exams consisted of 30 multiple choice questions and 6 essay questions. The English Comp II final consisted of pre-reading "The Prince" by Machiavelli and writing an essay answering three questions in the exam. There was a time limit of two hours, and I used every minute of it. If you don't know the material inside and out when you take the exams, you are doomed. The course material was definitely tougher than anything I ever did at the University of Wisconsin. AJU is NA, but you will get an education there.

I highly recommend AJU. If you want to know what it's like to study with them, check out the "My Andrew Jackson University Experience" blog. The link is in my signture.
