  1. Anyone familiar with American Open Learning University?

    Here's a quotation from their web-site about their fast-track Bachelor's degree:

    • Step 1: Choose an innovative college.
American Open Learning University will connect you to an accredited college established just for working adults. You can get credit based on an assessment of what you have learned on the job and through training.

Step 2: Get credit for what you already know.
Get academic credit for your work-based learning and your training courses. American Open Learning University can guide you through the evaluation process.

Step 3: Take accelerated certificate courses.
Take Certificate Courses (6-week accelerated format) that count for academic credit toward your Bachelor’s degree. American Open Learning University can get you started with 48-semester credits (15 courses) in “Organizational Management,” offered online in an accelerated format.

Step 4: Enroll while we get your transcripts.
It will take you four to six weeks to have official transcripts sent and evaluated. Save time and money by enrolling in a 6-week course and let American Open Learning University get your transcripts processed—with no processing fee.

They also offer Master's and PhD degrees, as well as an undergraduate degree "with a distinctly Christian perspective."

  2. I poked around the site a bit more, and it's clear that the primary accredited university with whom they work for a bachelor's degree is COSC.
