The first step would be to have your international education evaluated by a recognized educational credential evaluation service; which service to use is sometimes dependent upon the school you want to attend. This way you will have a better idea how many credit hours towards a bachelor degree you might already have earned through Cambridge University Diploma in Computer Studies and from International Technical Certifications.

The next step, or maybe in tandem with the previous step, research which schools offer a bachelor degree in a field you want. A good place to begin is a close look at the "Big Three" - Charter Oak State College, Excelsior College, and Thomas Edison State College. There is a fourth school that offers a Bachelor of General Studies - Athabasca University. Each of these schools allows all credit hours to be earned elsewhere and transferred into the degree or take courses through the schools themselves. The British Computer Society also offers some type of educational credential through examination; check the IT sub-forum for recent postings.

If you could post a list of the International Technical Certifications someone might be able to shed some light on whether these would be eligible for transfer credit.

This will get you started and thinking of additional questions as you research your options in earning a degree.

12 years of high school is unusual (at least by US and UK standards). Did you pass any exams that might be convertable to college credit (such as AP or GCE-A Levels)?

    Hi,

Have a look at MBA program offered by Heriot Watt (Edinburgh Business School). HW does not require a Bachelors degree for entry this program. You will be accepted conditionally until you have passed three courses.

    Good luck.

Did you actually spent 12 years in high school?
