Today we've added an "introductions" forum to DegreeInfo. While I realize that the regulars probably know a fair amount about each other, we figured it would be nice to have a place specifically set up for people to introduce themselves and tell a little about who they are. In keeping with the concerns about Internet privacy (or lack thereof), it's fine to avoid specifics if you're not comfortable disclosing them, but it would be great to be able to have a better understanding of the individual interests and experience shared in our collective community. We'd particularly like to extend an invitation to "lurkers" and occasional posters to introduce themselves and perhaps post a little bit here and there
