He's 54 and has a degree in business management and is looking to take some refresher courses or maybe get a certificate in finance. Can anyone point out some good online classes or programs that would stay specific with just the finance part of business? Thanks
Hi Joey (and Joeys Dad) - Look at these http://www.devry.edu/keller/programs/financial-analysis-certificate.jsp http://www.post.edu/online/degrees/financecertificate/index.shtml have fun
Is his degree an MBA or undergrad degree? If it's an MBA, East Carolina U. offers a graduate certificate in finance. http://www.ecu.edu/cs-acad/gradschool/results.cfm?id=208
There is no credit or certicates awarded but maybe your father can update his knowledge using courseware from MIT http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Sloan-School-of-Management/index.htm
If it's just a refresher then AJU (www.aju.edu) would be the most affordable option out there. They offer the following finance courses: BA526 Financial Institutions and Market BA530 Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management BA533 Risk Analysis and Insurance MG631 International Financial Management
Golden Gate University has a graduate certificate in finance, but it is about $1,900 a class. https://www.ggu.edu/academic_programs/finance/graduate_certificate
