    Hi there,

I am becoming increasingly interested in distance education (thanks to this forum). My doctoral thesis research will culminate in a curriculum for an English as a Foreign Language academic writing class, and I'm considering the option of offering it online only.

Before maybe looking at some type of certification in online teaching/learning, I would like use the internet as a resource (I have never taken a class online). Are there any helpful websites on distance learning that you could recommend? A focus on language learning would be awesome, but just anything that explains distance learning will be helpful. Sample courses, educational projects etc. would be great, too. Whatever you know of, please post it here.

    Thanks!

We have a bunch of good articles in our article database. The articles haven't been updated in several years, so there may be some broken links and some information that isn't completely up-to-date, but probably 80% of the information is still quite useful.

We're in the process of updating it and so it's not really "live" in that we aren't advertising it or directly linking off of our site, but hopefully it will be a good start.
