It was thanks to this site that I finished my BA in English this past semester. I was on the site and found the inspiration to go back and finish out my degree. Now I want to continue to finish a graduate degree. I am bilingual and work as a translator. I am quite interested in any distance program that offers a MA in Translation/Interpretation. I did a search, but maybe I am not looking in the right places.

I was hoping someone on the forum could give me some guidance or assistance in letting me know what's out there. Thanks again, everybody.

    Help

I almost forgot. I need distance or low-residency program as I go back to work abroad after the summer break.

Just off the top of my head, the only one I can think of is the DETC-accredited Babel University www.babel.edu eut of Hawaii.

The University of Newcastle Australia offers an online MA in Applied Linguistics with a specialization in Translation Studies.

    Good luck!

    Found a few programs

After a brief research, I found that the University of Portmouth in England offers a MA in Translations. Also, I found a MA in Translation at Birmingham University in England as well. Portsmouth seems a bit less expensive. Monterey Institute of International Affairs has a nice MA program in Translation, but it is very, very expensive, and there is no distance or low-residency option.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Excelsior's MA-LS program. One of the tracks is a self-design program. I am trying to see if I can design something in my field. Any ideas or advice on that last idea?
