Florida University of Management http://www.floridaumgt.org appears to be another new one. This time, registered in the British Cayman Islands with the President detailed as follows:

"Professor Endrenyi, an international authority on statistical methods, and special consultant to the Ministry of Health of Canada, served as Associate Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Governing Council Member, and Academic Board Member of the University of Toronto in Canada"

And, of course, they are a member of the WAUC.

Also, they list a contact address in Florida. It will be interesting to see what state authorities think about this. I may have reason to check it out....

I am SHOCKED to find they are not listed on the Division of Colleges and Universities website at http://www.fldcu.org/univ_info/default.asp

Only an MBA is offered. The people listed as president and advisors are solid, analog citizens. The ones that I checked actually exist where they're supposed to exist and have good academic credentials and/or business experience. Several have academic or business interests in China, which seems to be the focus of the website.

I have no doubt that these people, few as they are, could contribute to an MBA program; I just have to wonder if they know that they're involved.

 

Interestingly, part of the website of an US university is written in Chinese. People in China must be its major source of students (customers).
