I was sent this email from a friend weeks ago about a superintendent who received a doctorate from an unaccredited online university (University of Santa Barbara) Naperville school board to discuss superintendent pick District 203 meeting to cover controversy over educator's résumé Make sure that your college or university has recognized accreditation from the U.S. Department of Education
Interesting article, although I think the greater tragedy is that school divisions like the one described spend so much money searching for superintendents. There's no need to hire consulting firms. If the board members are not competent enough to make decisions like that, they shouldn't be on the school board. -Matt
It seems they thought he graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara at the beginning. Oh, well!!!
