I'm hoping to get all my credits for TESC together in a bunch and then submit them to TESC for a degree. If I do, would I still have to pay the first year fee? (According to the calculator, I do have to do this...)

In addition, can I put over 120 credits on my transcript?

I did this for my BS at Excelsior - later I realized it was a big mistake - I could have put thse excess units towards a second bachelor degree.

Yes you pay for a year, and yes you can put on unlimited credits.

As you'll discover, it isn't 120 that's the magic number- it's the distribution of that 120. If you have 200 free electives- you can't make a degree out of that no matter what.

I drove myself crazy because I had 15 business credits just hanging there (unused! GASP!) -so I would just be careful of the "mightaswell" slope, it's a slippery one! LOL

Well, I'll be trying for a liberal arts degree. The only thing I could try for at TESC with some of my other credits would be for Emergency Management (I will have some FEMA courses for free electives.)
I want to get over 120 credits because some courses I've taken in the past may not qualify as "core" course. Further, I want to have "wriggle room" in case some of my choices aren't taken...(And, if I get my library courses on a transcript, I can use them as credit to help get certified as a full library technician...)
My courses will be coming from my local community college (with some possible AP thrown in...My community college accepted it, but my AP transcript has since been lost), CLEP, DANTES (Which I need to take), FEMA, USAFIADL (I'm not in the Air Force, but I am in Civil Air Patrol, which allows me to take certain courses...), and ACE (USDA Grad School).
