Hello all, New member and first time poster. I am currently towards the back end of obtaining my MBA and possibly looking for further education in a Ph. D in International Business. I prefer the online format for better fit my schedule. I just want to get a feel for universities that offer such a degree and are AACSB accredited and are resonable affordable.
Unless your are willing to give up something in the equation, there is not much alternatives yet (I might be wrong) here. Argosy University offers with blend of online and residency but is not AACSB accredited. Northcentral University also has this specialization but is not AACSB accredited but ACBSP accredited. Argosy is not cheap and Northcentral is getting closer by the year to be as expensive as other online universities. If you want a AACSB you will have to sacrifie more than you are willing. More recommendations will follow by other gurus in the matter.
Southern New Hampshire has one http://www.snhu.edu/1782.asp Not accredited by the AACSB but still a decent program.
It seems that is not longer a distance program, my mistake. "We do not offer Distance Education for any DBA classes; all classes must be taken face-to-face with a full-time faculty member of Southern New Hampshire University."
So, before you changed the post, "you stated it worked for you" due to the driving distance, then it was not clear if you washed out of the program or graduated?

I was under the impression it was distance since I was told that I was able to follow it from Canada about 8 years ago but it seems that the requirements changed or may be it is still possible to follow it with some distance education components.
Something to bear in mind in the search: the last time I surveyed this issue, a fairly substantial subset of universities -- about 1/3 is what I remember -- did not accept any MBA as meeting their Master's requirement for entry into a doctoral program, saying that they regarded it as a terminal degree, and were looking, instead, for an MA or MS in economics, business, marketing, accounting, etc. But I did that survey 11 or 12 years ago, and don't know if things have changed and, if so, in what direction.
