Hello, I am active duty military. I want to pursue a physics degree at Ohio State University after my enlistment. Does anyone know a good online source of calculus and higher levels of math online? I would appreciate any information anyone could provide for me. I have found a few resources but most of them are limited to online certain types of math, such as calculus only. I would like to to acquire as many courses from one source as I can. Thanks! -James

    James:

If you substitute "online" with "correspondence study", LSU is your hands down winner.

In addition to Calc I and II, Linear Algebra, Multidimensional Calculus, and Linear Algebra are also offered. The price is right also: $80 per credit, plus a $10 processing fee per course:

Best of luck, and thank you for your service.

The University of Idaho does an online MAT in mathematics. I have taken some classes and was really happy with them.

At the undergraduate level there is the netmath option at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

As for online physics there isn't much.

The university of Virgina has the MAPE program; however, it isn't entirely online as you have to spend two summers in residence. It is also focused on educators so that may be a selling point or a negative.

Michigan State does an online Masters in Beam Physics

You can also take some graduate physics classes at Montana State University as part of their master of science education degree. I took a few of their classes and was disappointed. I know other people that have loved their classes so your experiences may vary.
