I currently posses an AS from Regents/Excelsior College. However, I find myself to be in desperate need of a BS degree in the fastest time possible (career change). A few weeks ago I discovered a local RA school (Barry University) that awarded a total of 15 credits 6UL-9LL based on my Florida State Law Enforcement Officer certification. With these credits along with their portfolio and 30 credit Hr. requirement I should be able to complete a Bachelors in professional studies in approx. 18 months. I contacted excelsior College and was told they would not accept these credits because they would be listed on Barry's transcript as block credit. I would prefer completing my degree using examinations. Does anyone know of any other RA schools that I can complete most of the degree requirements by examination and would also accept these licensure credits?
    Thanks,

You might check with Charter Oak State College. If you can match your certificate to RA courses you can use their "special Assessment" I received 55 credits by special assessment. They may also accept the Barry University credits.

Check also with Thomas Edison State College,
as you can use examinations for all of your
    degree requirements if need be.
