Maryland locals (like me) are very familiar with Frostburg. It's always been a very affordable option if one is willing to travel out to the western part of the state. Anyway, the school is AACSB accredited and its MBA program is available fully online. The school does not do a great job of promoting the online option, but I emailed the director of the program yesterday and confirmed that it can be completed 100% online. Maryland in-state tuition is $11,412 and out-of-state tuition is $13,104. It is a 36 hour (12 class), general MBA. Frostburg State University is part of the University System of Maryland.

Just wanted to present this option to the board because I have never seen it discussed before. I am 99% sure that I will do my MBA at Frostburg, but I will probably do a hybrid format (some courses online, others at the Hagerstown campus).

That is a very modest increase for out-of-state tuition.

And that's $13K for the whole degree, right?

Yes, it's the out-of-state hourly tuition rate multiplied by 36 hours. If additional prerequisites need to be taken the cost would obviously increase. FSU offers 10 prereqs, each worth 1 hour.

Maybe I glazed the site too quickly, but is this a distance learning program? I'm not seeing anything talking about its distance learning delivery method.

Take a look at the links in the thread-starting post. Click on the third link. Read the first sentence.

I had the same problem. the first sentence says:

Welcome to the online home of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Frostburg State University

    not:

Welcome to the home of the online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Frostburg State University.

I could not find any other reference to online delivery.

    Nice program otherwise----Best wishes----Jim

Take a look at this quote from the first post.

Some schools are not great at promoting their distance learning options and require a bit more research.
