I recently posted a discussion regarding teaching history courses at a local CC, I believe that question is answered so I will move on to question #2. I am currently using my GI Bill to fund my MBA from CSU and will finish the program in July. I would like to transition into an EdD or other post masters program in order to ensure I use the funding in the allotted time. Here are my criteria for the program. I want to see what this grouping of DL geniuses can come up with. 1. I would prefer either an EdD or a post master's history degree. History is my love but the EdD would serve me better in the long run. I will take ideas on either. I have looked at NCU and am VERY interested. The 33,000 price tag would far surpass what I have left in my VA benefits, but I would not be opposed to student loans. 2. The more inexpensive the better. Not to go into details but, kids, cars, etc, the usual adult problems with funding education. 3. A short residence shouldn't be a problem at all. I am completely new to the area of post master's questions and apologize if any acronyms or verbage was harmed in the making of this post.
