The following quote comes from a different forum, but it points out a new, upcoming online program:
The school is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Ok, I give. What is the new Masters program going to be in? The web site makes no mention of it.

I have a sneaking suspicion that "Bombdog94" has some sort of personal stake in Faulkner University.

In the field of Criminal Justice, comparing Florida State & Michigan State to Faulkner would be like a high school football team playing the Green Bay Packers. Out of the 4 listed CJ faculty members at Faulkner, one has a DPA, and 3 have a JD...degrees that have nothing to do with Criminal Justice, and IMO don't qualify one to teach Criminal Justice.

Unless they get some better credentialed faculty, I don't think Faulkner is qualified to offer a graduate degree in Criminal Justice at all, DL or otherwise.

I had never even heard of Falkner University, prior to his mentioning it. I think it's a religious-based school (because they offer some biblical-type classes).

I am curious how me again edited his message, or did he just say in his text before posting:

Hmmm....he has a Bachelor of Criminal Justice, a very unusual degree title that's offered by.....drum roll.....Faulkner University!!

For the record, I have nothing against Faulkner University, but for someone to compare it to Florida State or Michigan State in regards to Criminal Justice is just plain silly.
