Paying tuition at WNMU

I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issues I'm having. I'm attempting to pay my tuition at WNMU via their online system. I've been trying for about 3 weeks, and each time I try I get an error. It says that a charge may have been applied to my credit card, which it never has. Once it said my credit card denied the charge, and upon calling my card company, I found out that was not the case.

The page gives a number to call, but today is Saturday, so I'm out of luck. On previous attempts to call, I suspect the campus was closed due to winter break. Classes start Monday, so I want to make sure I get everything taken care of. I know that the deadline to pay is around the 23rd, so I have some time. I suppose I'm just wondering if anyone else is having these same issues as I am.

    Thanks,
    Matt

I'm not surprised by their incompetence. I emailed them to find out whether my financial aid had been approved. They finally, at long last, got back to me with an email asking whether I would like to drop my classes for the semester (I'm not even registered yet, nor will I be without word on my financial aid). Note: They did not mention whether my financial aid had been approved.

You know, I would simply write a check, drop it in the mail, and send an e-mail to the University making them aware of the issue, along with notification that you mailed a check for tuition.

I would do that, except I don't have the cash on hand. I always pay by credit card because we have to provide a copy of the statement to the school board office, along with transcripts verifying we earned a passing grade, to get our 70% tuition reimbursement at the end of the year.

    Ted,

If this were happening to me, I would send an e-mail to the financial aid office, give them 2 business days to respond, and then if no response - a telephone call to the Director of FA.

    Matt,

I would send an e-mail to the Acting VP of Business Affairs describing your situation. I'll PM you with the contact info.

Thanks, Shawn. With other schools, I've always looked up the bursar's office, but I couldn't find a listing with WNMU. I'll be sure to let everyone know how successful I am in contacting the individual.
