Today my two oldest children (17 yr. old son & 15 yr. old daughter) completed some CLEP/DSST exams. Both of my children completed the English Comp w/Essay exam. They won't have scores for a couple of weeks yet.

My 17 year old son completed the Astronomy DSST with a 59. He now has 7 college credits: 4 from Clovis Community College, and 3 from the Astronomy DSST.

My 15 year old daughter completed the Sociology CLEP with a 64. She now has 22 college credits: 10 from Clovis Community College, and 12 from CLEP.

Thanks to all on the board who have provided pointers on this journey...

Great news! When do you send them in for Analyzing and Interpreting Literature?

Excellent! Great parenting! Do you have a plan for the 17-year-old to earn an associate's degree completely through distance and exams?

    15 year old - done

17 year old - who knows? I can't seem to spark his interest in the exam...

Actually, we have a plan for the 15 year old. We'll revisit with the 17 year old at the end of the school year. He is taking a Criminal Justice Class through Clovis this term.
