Psychological counselling - http://brochure.unisa.ac.za/brochure/showprev.aspx?d=l_2_33&f=p_02313COU I have registered for this degree but are UNISA degrees just as good as that from other varsities? i.e UJ or wits -sorry I am a new user and I am sorry if I waisted your time
Based on what I've read, the utility of this degree will depend largely on the laws that govern such matters where you live. Based on your use of the term "varsities," I'm guessing that you are British. Could I be right?
OK, so the joke's on me. If you earn this degree, what sort of job will you be able to obtain? Or is this a step towards a higher degree? I don't know very much about South Africa, the laws, etc.
Ummm I want to become a counselor which means I will have to do my degree-then hons to become a qualified and registered counselor. Something like that anyway
Hi Korn. If you do pursue a degree through UNISA, please keep us posted along the way. Many of us have interest in UNISA, but have heard it can be a difficult process to navigate through for Americans. I have toyed with the idea of PhD from UNISA. Welcome aboard and I wish you the best. Thanks, Abner
The only painful process is waiting for your study material to arrive Also you will pay a little more for your subjects but well what do you expect they have to send it to you through air mail ;D I will keep you posted
