    Online Certificates from Brand Name Schools - “Resume Boosters”

    What is a resume booster? In this case, it represents an educational award that can enhance a resume or curriculum vitae.

    This page, probably the first of its kind, was constructed specifically for the purpose of highlighting continuing education (read: non-credit), online certificates obtainable through highly respected public and private universities.

    Thanks for this. There's no doubt that an executive certificate or similar from a well known school can be a great resume enhancer. Also, don't underestimate the power of being part of the alumni network, and being able to 'flash the badge' on LinkedIn and other places.

    I looked at programs from Harvard andn they are like $5K - $10K for a weekend program or 5 day program - way too much for me.

    I was looking at getting one from Rutgers, but...

    With so many projects out there what is project management?? :D

    has grad certificates in Gender Studies, Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and Marriage & Family Therapy.

    There was a high level executive in my company that once said, "We need to do less planning and more executing." And by god many line managers listened....we don't plan &*#$ now.
