    Hello Board,

Just in my surfing ran across this school. (Davenport University)

On west coast, so have not heard of them before.

However, they appear to have many online programs and certs. It also has a number of B&M campuses. Cost is a bit less than others from what I can tell.

Other opinions and feedback or experiences would be appreciated.

At $425/ credit hour, they are a little pricey for my taste. I do not know any more than that. What degree program are you looking at?

Actually, they are cheaper than other privates discussed repeatedly on this board such as NCU, Argosy, Strayer and others which are over $500 per unit for grad easily. So less pricey than others but not as cheap as state / non-profit schools.

Looking at a grad certificate in Finance.

The Davenport i know of is in Michigan. It is headquartered out of Grand Rapids, but has campuses throughout the state. The school acquired Detroit College of Business a few years ago.

I see them as a competitor with Baker and other career focused schools.

    Regards - Andy

Since you live in California. Why's not go to the best of the best? That is Stanford University's Certificate in Finance.

My cousin earned her bachelor's in accounting from the Detroit campus and was very happy with her studies there. She says the program was good and she had great professors. She now works for one major insurance company that handles he accounts of Hollywood film outfits in California.

This comment is right on. I attended Davenport on campus years ago. From my experience, it was a good school at the time. Overall it has a good reputation here in Michigan as a small "career focused" college. It does seem expensive though.
