Hello Everyone, I am curious about Politechnic Institute, and want to know if it is the same as New York University. The Politechnic Institute was recently accquired/merged with New York University. I am wondering if one earns a degree from Poly is the same as from New York University. Any comment, or suggestion? Thanks.
As I understand it, Poly is now "affiliated" with NYU, but it is not yet "part" of NYU (although it will eventually become part of NYU). So currently, Poly degrees are not the same as NYU degrees (although they eventually will be). From the NYU-Polytechnic Affiliation FAQs:

Hahaha, for schools I do take them seriously. Troy University Southern Methodist University the last one maybe, NYU, USC, Uof Utah, GWU, or whichever stop school accept me for Ph.D.
