Last effort for some help with English credits before I pay tuition at LSU. For the B.A. in English from TESC, I need Non-Western Literature and 3 of the following:

     Advanced Persuasive Writing
     African-American Literature
     American Literary Realism
     American Political Novel
     American Romanticism
     Asian Literature
     Chaucer
     Children’s Literature
     Comicand Satiric Tradition
     Comparative Literature
     Creative Writing
     Development of English Drama
     Elizabethan Drama
     English Romantic Period
     European Literature
     Greek Drama
    History of English Language
     Indian Literature
     Latin American Literature
     Literary Criticism
     Literature and Religion
     Milton
     Modern Drama
     Mythology
     Playwriting
     Poetry
     Regional Literature
     Restoration Drama
     Science Fiction
     Shakespeare
     Short Story
     Social Protest Literature
     The Augustan Age
     20th Century English
     Victorian Literature
     Women in Literature

I am trying one last time to locate a cheaper source than LSU ($250). I am hoping for an affordable online community college option that has a Children's Literature, Creative Writing, and/or Advanced Expository Writing class. Any ideas before I start a class at LSU? THANKS!

    LSU it is.

I am going with these classes:

    Children's Literature
    http://www.is.lsu.edu/coursefactsheet.asp?nid=301&Rubric=EDCI&CourseNr=3000&Version=Q

    Advanced English Composition
    http://www.is.lsu.edu/coursefactsheet.asp?nid=301&Rubric=ENGL&CourseNr=2001&Version=Z

    Business Writing
    http://www.is.lsu.edu/coursefactsheet.asp?nid=301&Rubric=ENGL&CourseNr=2002&Version=J

I am also interested in courses in creative writing, grammar, and the Bible as literature. Let me know if you think of or locate more affordable online options (under $250).

    Thanks.

I have $600 in tuition reimbursement to use for this spring. If I can find a course or two for $200 or less, that would be most excellent! :D

I am not in California; I am in Missouri. California community colleges are expensive for out-of-state students. My local CC is the same price as LSU. Thanks.

New Mexico colleges have notoriously low tuition, even for out-of-state students. I believe they are cheaper than LSU. BYU also has a number of individual courses which are cheap.

It is possible to take individual courses from Penn Foster College, and they are $90 per credit hour.

Yes, New Mexico CCs are cheaper than LSU, but they do not have the courses I am looking for.
