Has anyone used Thinkwell products for CLEP preparation? My youngest son is using the subscription service for high school algebra. Since I graduated high school years and my math skills were weak to begin with, I've been reviewing his videos. I wonder if the college level products would be an effective test prep.

Clovis Community College uses Thinkwell Trigonometry and my 15 yr. old is finishing the semester. I have examined the Thinkwell Calculus course v. the Calculus CLEP. Thinkwell Calculus covers not just the CLEP, but also Calc II at Ohio University.

My advice is to go to the College Board's College Algebra website: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/ex_ca.html and compare the Thinkwell material with the requirements for the College Algebra exam. If the material is covered, you should have your son take a practice exam as a confidence builder, and go for the CLEP.

For the record, we plan to use Thinkwell Calculus and Physics this Spring.
