It appears that both institutions offer online degree programs that I am interested in and I was wondering if there are any forum members who could offer any insight into either school... thanks in advance...

I'm betting that National is a bit cheaper than Mercy. I wrote to Mercy once because they've got an MFA program I was looking at. They still send me mail/email all the time. Persistent.

Thanks for the information... I am leaning towards National University because they offer an accelerated track (one course per month) but I am still very much interested in what others have to say ... Is there anybody familiar with National University ??

I went to national. It's a good program and moves very fast. If you have a high enough GPA after three or four classes you can take two classes at a time which can shorten the completion time.

I have taught for NU online. My best advice is to compare and contrast the programs. If fast-tracking is what you want then NU is probably best. However, not all programs are best delivered in accelerated formats.

Without knowing the precise program you are looking at, that is the best I can offer.
