Something fun from the a.e.d. archive...

Was doing a little research and came across the following gem from a.e.d. (circa 1998) :

First, Levicoff wrote:
"Beloved, do not believe every newsgroup writer, but test the writers
to see whether they are from regionally accredited schools; because
many false university presidents have gone out into the world" (1 John
4:1, paraphrased).

Then, Dennis Huber wrote:
Is that John *Bear*, 1st Edition, chapter 4, page 1?

To which Levicoff responded:
Exactly. It is a little known fact that John's first edition was written
entirely in King James English.It was not until the third edition that he began to write in contemporary San Franciscan. This, of course, became known as "The
Berkeley Edition."

To which John replied:
He's right, you know.
