I live in Alabama so I am familiar with Troy University. I just wanted to hear from someone with experience about there online programs. I’m interested in the Applied Computer Science degree program.

    How is Troy's e-campus?

    How are the instructors?

Does the Applied Computer Science program cover web design?

    Troy

My experience with Troy was fantastic. I took classes via ecampus and had great teachers, fair tuition and a sound education. I also took classes thru Phenix City and Ft Benning.

Thanks! I'm thinking about applying to Troy. I'm all set to attend Fort Hays but that may change real soon.

I change my mind all the time. lol:cool:

The Trojans also have a pretty good football team that you can occasionally catch on ESPN.

Troy University's eCampus was known as University College campus. First of all, I like Troy University with their flexible degree and schedule with 5 terms per year. Besides, the tuition is affordable and decent schools. Troy University's Trojans football team is doing way way better than SMU's Mustang.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is not ABET accredited, in 2006 the degree was revised and changed into Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science. The degre is lacking in Math and Programming; if you want to be a Software Engineering or Programmer. This program is not for you, unless you want to go further education for a Master in specific area you want to choose.

I spent only $2,000.00 for my Bachelor degree at Troy University, and the rest was covered by the DoD Tuition Assistance. I completed my degree in 24 months while on active duty, and that was why I chose Troy University over any other institution. I was comparing the BIG THREE with Troy; however, I realized that the BIG THREE don't have ground campus. Therefore, it is hard to claim in your resume. As far as the degree go, It serves me very well in both Civilian and Military.

BTW, Military Student can use their Military Experience and Courses as minor.

GO TROJANS...Just got a pack of 12 today for a hot date tonight. lol

I live a few hours away from Troy and know several ex-Troy football players.

I don't know why I over looked Troy in the first place. I applied today and will go with the Trojans. It's final this time. I will not change my mind again. lol

    Thanks to all!

    Have a great weekend,
